Aptinothrips rufus (Haliday, 1836)

世界中に広く分布する。日本ではイネ科で最も普通に見られる種の1つ。触角は6節、跗節は1節。オスは日本では稀。本属は5種を含み全て無翅型。
This species is widely distributed into the world. In Japan, it is one of the most common grass-living species. It has 6-segmented antennae and 1-segmented tarsi. Male is very few in Japan. This genus is including five apterous species.
